The greatest contribution technology makes to the classroom is that kids don't know they are working as they are using it.

Since mathematics is the foundation for all of the technology, I LOVE to use it!!!! I use everything I can get my hands on to teach math.

Technology is making life easier in a quickly way, including teaching and learning. I think kids love it. I haven't use it before but I plan to. It's amazing what I have seen Mrs. Norfar done in classroom.

Kids know it and use it so our teachers need to implement it.

I love to use technology in the classroom. Having said that, I really want to learn how to use it more. This summer I plan to set up a blog for my students to use. I want to learn how to use texting as a way to communicate with students and any other ways it can be used. I want my classes to be fun, energetic, and interactive to keep my students actively engaged.

I think the best part is that the students have no problems using technology. Most of the time they know more than the teachers. Also, the activity possibilities are endless.

I've used my SmartBoard to give visual aides such as photos and videos. I've also used it as a reward, such as letting the students play Battleship.

I utizize my Smartboard for various assignments--specifically for graphic organizers. My students will come to the board and fill in the information needed. Also, I have used unitedstreaming.com to show short video clips and give assessments. I have had my students create power point research papers and have recently been attempting to create a Webquest? assignment that I learned at a previous school. It is a completely internet based project that requires the students to search all information online and all parts of the directions and the assignment itself is done online.

I have used multiple games such as Jeopardy and Who Wants to be a Millionaire with my students. I have these games saved and change them according to the lesson and/or story that we have been covering in class.
